"I was sitting on my stand on the south shore of a lake. The wind was blowing north directly over a trail that runs along the shore. It was late October 2021 and of course I was using my Ozonics unit. I got into the stand and started my usual sequence for that time of year. Do a few buck grunts and doe bleats followed by some rattling, then call every 10 minutes, rattling on the half hour. After my second set of calls, I had a small six-point walk in. He left and I continued with another rattling session, waited ten minutes and called again. This time a nice 8-point came in and walked directly down wind of me. He gave no indication that he smelled me only 20 yards away in the tree. I held off shooting him because I was after a bigger deer. I continued with the same sequence and this time after the second call I could see big antlers coming my way. The buck approached, tended a scrape and then walked directly down wind of me at 20 yards. I got him to stop with a doe bleat right in my shooting lane. I shot, he whirled, jumped off the bank and ran back the way he came along the shoreline. We found him about 100 yards away. He weighed around 300 pounds and score 162.4 inches. My largest buck ever. If it hadn't been for my Ozonics unit I never would have gotten that opportunity. I have had as many as 12x deer walk directly down wind of me with no indication they knew I was there when using my Ozonics unit. I won't hunt without it."
