"My HR300 made a believer out of me, and I intentionally tried it with bad winds to test it out. It served me well for 12-14 years but it was time to upgrade. I’m looking forward to using the HR600 this year. Mind you, I still play the wind, but if I have 1 or 2 days off to hunt, drive 4 hours to my lease and find the wind is sketchy, I’m still going to hunt."

"Recently purchased the HR600 with kinetic pack. I have owned a HR300 for years and have been satisfied with performance. The changes made to the HR600, being quieter and longer run time, were incentive to upgrade. The disappointment came when I realized the unit carrying portion of the pack wasn't changed to accommodate the larger unit. The rain cover doesn’t zip over the unit when it’s carried in the operating position and seems to ride high in the pocket raising concern the unit may fall out if any bending down or leaning over is done when walking in"
